My mother would often say, (often when it wasn’t what I wanted to hear),
“If you are going to worry, why bother to pray? If you are going to pray, you don’t need to worry.”
Well, I still do some of both. But I am getting better at more prayer and less worry. I think!
This book is a compilation of prayers, various writings by me and others, and some of my favorite Bible verses.

When I had written down a number of these “snapshots” I looked at them for the first time as a group and not just as individual thoughts.
It was then I discovered a common theme running through them. God seems to be saying, “Trust Me, grab hold of My hand, and run with Me. And don’t forget to laugh while we do it.”
